Core i5, nVidia GTX285 on Asus Clear Case

Asus Philippines put up this dream team gaming rig with the new Intel Core i5 750, Asus nVidia Geforce GTX 285 and Asus Maximus III Formula.

To top it off, the gaming system came with a custom polymer Asus Clear PC Case

which makes all the peripherals visible from all sides. Doesn’t look that pretty at first but wait ’til you boot it up in the dark.

Although the design is a bit interesting, the hard plastic case seemed a little

brittle and prone to cracks and scratches. What’s lacking here actually is a transparent CD/DVD writer you can include in the rig.

Used a samsung 32″ LCD TV with screen resolution

of 1366×768. The Windows Experience Index gives it a pretty nice score although I’m a little surprised the DDR3 RAM got the lowest sub-score in the bunch.
